At this juncture, now that I have been teaching myself internet marketing for the past 3 years, it is only right to pay homage to the internet marketers who have inspired me on my journey. Plus, while I am still building and getting myself together, in the event someone wanted to take action right now, these are the guys I’d start reading, watching, and listening to.
Each of these guys belong to affiliate programs. I’ve never bought into one of them. However, when the time comes, these are probably the guys I am going with. I’ve used their sites to learn a lot of the things I’ve learned and each day I have a site of my own, these are the guys I model.
Internet marketers are people who use the internet to make money. There are various ways to make money, from the complex compensation models of affiliate marketing to promoting products you will receive a commission on. This also includes people who have developed a product or program and it is used online. Anytime money is being made from the internet, you fall under the umbrella of internet marketers.
His site is pretty old and it hasn’t been updated but the information you find is as timeless as it is valuable. A few of his techniques are sketchy and I probably wouldn’t use, but he is definitely onto something. A lot of people use rinse, wash, and repeat methods but his methods for content generation toe the line. Everything else, though – money in the bank. When it comes to traffic generation, this guy is telling everything. Also, I watched about 10 helpful ass videos before I even saw one with a sales pitch. The sales pitch was awfully petty, too. He really isn’t an affiliate marketer. He one of the internet marketers that builds niche sites targeting a very small and specific bunch of people and he throws products in there that he will receive a commission from. However, in this particular video, one of the guys he respects built a really helpful software that would help someone dominate FaceBook which is becoming increasingly hard. It turned out to be very useful to him so he shared it in a video.
Okay, well, I just blew my own mind. Mr. Mike Marko has really stepped his game up. I had to visit his site to get you all the link and he is clearly on a roll. Mike is actually a man I consider my friend. I had the opportunity to work with him years ago and he taught me something that took me to another level. We once had a chance to speak on the phone and he was very empowering. It is no surprise that he now has an internet marketing consulting firm. Years ago, Mike Marko belonged to Empowerment Network, a really cool affiliate program that went borderline viral. I joined the program following one of his ads and by far no one measures up in terms of the support he gives his team. He is active on FaceBook and he is available. He shares his personal life and maintains modesty at the same time. I’ll have more on Mike in the future once I get to the bottom of what he is up to now. Maybe he’ll even let me interview him.
If you are doing anything online and you don’t know who Neil Patel is, then you should probably not even bother showing up. Neil Patel has been gaining momentum in the industry establishing himself as more than an exert when it comes to content generation techniques and SEO. You can find a lot of what he writes on the internet, either on Crazy Egg or The Entrepreneur. Whatever you can find of this man, I say read it because it is going to be valuable. Hello Bar, for it to be free is amazing. When I installed mine, I was sure I was going to be forwarded to a checkout screen but I wasn’t. Now I have the very same email capturing page that Neil Patel uses on his sites. I really appreciate that because people new to internet marketing struggle with building their lists. Neil Patel swears by SEO. He came across a blog post of someone saying that SEO doesn’t matter. He made this crazy bet that he could increase the guys traffic and conversion over a short period of time employing all of his SEO techniques. If Patel was able to deliver, the guy had to not only show the findings but elaborate on how he was wrong.
